Caring for others is what drives everyone at Touching Hearts, and our franchise owners and their teams do an amazing job of finding great ways to plug in.”
As just one example, a Touching Hearts franchise team recently took part in a fundraiser for the ALS Association’s Central & Southern Ohio Chapter. The Walk to Defeat ALS raised funds for programs and services, and Touching Hearts at Home was a sponsor. All told, the chapter’s past three walks have raised more than $6 million.

“Touching Hearts at Home is an in-home senior care franchise. We are very proud of the work that we do in that regard,” Kummel says. “We are also proud of our teams who take part in these well-known and respected community activities. This is an extension of the caring, committed people they are.”
And, he adds, “While engaging in events like these isn’t meant to be a client-recruitment effort, it does give a wonderful opportunity to tell other volunteers or participants about who we are and what we do, and many times they will think of us when they need the in-home care and other services that we are able to offer. It’s a great opportunity for everyone.”
