New York franchisee Mark McDermott’s business serves seniors in the Rochester area
Rochester, New York franchisee Mark McDermott opened his Touching Hearts at Home Franchise a few years ago after having moved back to the area because of his mother’s illness and subsequent death. His story was recently featured in the Rochester Business Journal.
The article discusses Mark’s and his family’s long-term franchise business success. It goes on to explain the services his Touching Hearts franchise business offers. Having worked as a Merry Maids franchise owner, Mark learned of the Touching Hearts opportunity:
McDermott had heard about Minnesota-based Touching Hearts Inc. through Merry Maids, whose founder is the brother of Renae, founder and CEO of Touching Hearts. Touching Hearts has grown from a staff of 15 locally to roughly 75, mostly workers who serve as caregivers. The agency provides services to residents of Monroe County and parts of Ontario County, the majority of whom live at home.
