Todd Treml serves as the CEO of Touching Hearts at Home, bringing a wealth of franchise and leadership experience to the organization. With a proven track record in driving growth, innovation, and franchisee satisfaction, Todd has held several senior leadership roles in renowned franchise organizations. He was instrumental in the remarkable expansion of Winmark Corporation’s franchise brands—including Play It Again Sports, Once Upon a Child, Plato’s Closet, Style Encore, and Music Go Round—growing their locations from just 2 to 1,200 while leading operations, merchandising, and support. Todd also played a pivotal role in U.S. Franchise Development for Snap Fitness, one of the largest wellness franchise brands globally. As Executive Vice President of United Franchise Group, he oversaw the development and operations of eight franchise brands with over 2,000 locations. Most recently, Todd served as President of Pedal Pub Global, the largest experiential party bike franchise in the United States. With his extensive experience and commitment to building strong, supportive relationships with franchise owners, Todd is ideally positioned to lead Touching Hearts at Home into its next phase of growth.
Andrew Lungstrom, Chief Financial Officer
Andrew Lungstrom has been a pivotal force behind the growth and success of Touching Hearts at Home since he joined the organization in August 2006. Currently serving as the Chief Financial Officer, and formerly as the Director of Information Technology, Andrew’s multifaceted expertise has been integral to the foundation of the company. His contributions span the development of franchise agreements, training materials, brand design, and web-related content. Beyond his technical and marketing roles, Andrew plays a crucial part in supporting our franchisees, offering financial guidance, facilitating vendor connections, and ensuring they have the resources needed to thrive. As a new franchise owner, you’ll have the opportunity to work closely with Andrew, whose unwavering commitment to our mission ensures that each franchisee is set up for success.
Ryan Lungstrom, Chief Marketing Officer
As the Chief Marketing Officer of Touching Hearts at Home, Ryan Lungstrom has been a cornerstone of the company’s evolution, playing an essential role in both its foundational and ongoing development. Formerly the Director of Marketing, Ryan’s influence is evident in every facet of our brand—from the creation of initial marketing materials to the continuous refinement of our brand design. Kaitlin Ripple, Marketing Manager
Kaitlin Ripple, our Marketing Manager, is an essential resource for franchisees, providing comprehensive support in the digital realm. She assists with everything from creating and maintaining social media accounts to keeping owners up to date on the latest digital trends. Kaitlin works closely with the entire Corporate team to develop and enhance branding and marketing materials, ensuring consistency and impact across all platforms. Additionally, Kaitlin offers personalized 1:1 social media training tailored to the unique needs of each location and their teams. She also ensures that ongoing digital marketing training is available to all offices, empowering our franchisees to thrive in the ever-evolving digital landscape. Renae Peterson, founder of Touching Hearts, Inc.
Renae Peterson served as the CEO of Touching Hearts at Home from its inception in 2006 until 2022, guiding the company with her extensive franchise experience. Her journey in the franchise world began with nine successful years as a franchise owner of Merry Maids, a pioneering concept established by her brother, Dallen Peterson, in 1979. Renae’s commitment to senior care was ignited during her tenure as a business consultant for ServiceMaster in 1996. Recognizing that ServiceMaster’s primary focus was on the cleaning industry, she seized the opportunity to become the sole owner of the ServiceMaster senior care division. For eleven years, she effectively operated “Caring Companions,” a non-medical in-home care company based in St. Paul, Minnesota. In October 2006, Renae franchised her innovative senior care business model under the name “Touching Hearts at Home.” She embodies the spirit of entrepreneurial success, driven by a compassionate heart for serving others. Renae firmly believes that the care provided by Touching Hearts at Home offers individuals and families the physical, emotional, and spiritual support they truly deserve—a belief rooted in her personal experience, as her own mother was one of the company’s early clients.
